Podcasts are in their golden age. If you’re interested in a particular subject, chances are there’s a podcast about it. And we’d venture to guess you have listened to a podcast before if you don’t already subscribe to a handful. For those of you who are Toyota buffs, there’s a podcast for you now! Toyota Motor North America has created the Toyota Untold podcast and there are already four episodes available.

The podcast aims to tell the story of Toyota through the people who helped create the company and the company’s plans for future endeavors.

“We have a rich history and exciting future that we haven’t been able to tell through other communication channels,” Toyota Senior Manager of External Communications Eric Booth said in a press release. “This podcast will allow our customers and the media to gather important information about our company, as well as hear about exciting products and initiatives we’re working to bring to the market in the future.”

Season one of the podcast will consist of 10 episodes as well as a five-minute introduction. Episodes will be on topics like motorsports, drivers, executives, employees, engineers, mobility and robotics.

Episode 1 is called “Not A Car Company: Mobility For All.” The hosts — Tyler, Kelsey and Alison from Toyota’s North American headquarters in Plano, Texas — interviewed Toyota Group VP and General Manager Jack Hollis, Director of Technology for Human Support Doug Moore and Group Manager of Olympic and Paralympic Marketing Team Dedra DeLilli. They talked about everything else Toyota does besides manufacturing cars.

In “Allyn Pierce’s ‘Marshmallow Tundra,’” which is episode two, the hosts chat with Pierce, whose story went viral after posting a photo of his toasted Tundra on his Instagram account. Pierce spoke about his experience risking his own life, and severely damaging his Tundra in the process, to rescue patients and coworkers at the hospital where he worked in Paradise, Calif. during the wildfires late last year.

Episode 3 is entitled “Drive Fast, Turn Left: Racing with the Toyota Motorsports Team.” Denny Hamlin, Erik Jones, Hailie Deegan, Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. talked about being drivers for Team Toyota.

In Episode 4, “The Supra is Back,” the hosts chat about the new 2020 GR Supra.

The other six episodes of season one will focus on topics like the origins of Lexus, the Space Shuttle Endeavor Tundra pull and Olympics/Paralympics athletes.
