Toyota RAV4 is Redesigned for 2019

600 × 424

There’s a new RAV4 in town, and it’s sharp. Toyota redesigned the RAV4 for 2019 and, more than ever, it looks like its ready to go on an adventure. Updates for 2019 include a whole new look, two engine options instead of just one and an extra hybrid trim.

The RAV4 basically responsible for creating the small SUV segment and now it’s reinventing it.

The 2019 RAV4 XSE Hybrid is a new trim and it gives hybrid power but it’s the coolest RAV4 hybrid ever. It offers sport-tuned suspension, more horsepower, faster acceleration and high MPG. Plus, it has a two-tone exterior paint scheme.

The Adventure grade has a grille that’s evocative of the Tacoma, making it easy to identify in the lineup of all the RAV4 grades. The Limited grade has standard 19-inch wheels.

There are two engines available for the 2019 RAV4. They are:

• Dynamic Force 2.5L inline four-cylinder engine with VVT-iE mated to an 8-speed Direct Shift Automatic Transmission for the five gas models

• Dynamic Force 1.5L inline four-cylinder Toyota Hybrid System II engine with Electronically-Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission for the four hybrid models.

The interior of the 2019 RAV4 has been overhauled along with the exterior and what’s under the hood. New features include:

• Next generation Toyota Safety Sense

• JBL audio system

• Up to five USB ports

• Standard Entune 3.0 with 7-inch touchscreen or optional Entune 3.0 Audio Plus with 8-inch touchscreen

• Reversible liner and side net for rear cargo area

• More room for rear passengers

• Larger console with side-by-side cupholders, open tray for small items and available Qi wireless charger

We’re waiting, not so patiently, for the new 2019 Toyota RAV4 to hit our lot. The gas models will be delivered to our dealership sometime this winter, while the hybrid models will be available at the beginning of 2019. Until then, keep checking back for more information!
